Veedersburg—Mrs. Edith Crane passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs.  Margaret Simms in Hadenfield, New Jersey, Tuesday night. She and her husband had gone there to spend the winter. She had lived in the vicinity of Veedersburg since the age of two.

  Mrs. Crane was born April 28, 1868 in Pennsylvania, the daughter of Lewis and Anna Jennings McClain and married James Crane. She was a member of the Osborne Prairie Christian Church.

  Survivors are the husband, daughter at whose home she passed away and one son, Gardner Crane, of Hadenfield, New Jersey.
  The body will arrive in Veedersburg Thursday at 1:00 and will be taken to the J. Fred Parham Funeral Home.
  Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the Osborne Prairie Church with the Rev. Guy Walters officiating. Burial will be in Osborne Prairie Cemetery. – thanks to S&E
